The BTXP-12 kit includes nine friction plates on tempered steel cores, eight tempered-steel drive plates, and a 15% stronger-than-stock diaphragm spring. The friction plates use a starburst groove pattern to promote heat dissipation and oil circulation, and BDL states the clutch pack provides 15% more surface area than stock.
